Troian Avery Bellisario is an aspiring actress currently starring as "Spencer Hastings" on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. Troian was born into the business, her father, Donald P. Bellisario, is a writer, producer, and director of many beloved TV shows (Including NCIS, in which Troian has guest starred on numerous occasions). Her mother, Deborah Pratt, is an actress as well as a director and producer. Troian is a classically trained actress, having graduated from the theatre program at the University of Southern California. Troian Avery Bellisario was born on October 28th, 1985 in Los Angeles, CA to Donald P. Bellisario and Deborah Pratt. Troian began acting at the ripe young age of three in the film “Last Rites.” She also had a small role in her mother’s creation, “Quantum Leap.”
A few years later, she starred among Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in “Billboard Dad”. Troian has stated in previous interviews that she used to play with the Olsen’s as a child, she grew up across the street from them.
Bellisario attended The University of Southern California and received a BA in theatre arts. She has appeared among side her step-brother Sean Murray in NCIS which is also produced by her father, Donald P. Bellisario.
Troian now stars in her most recognizable role as “Spencer Hastings” on ABC Family’s hit television show, “Pretty Little Liars.” Troian states that her and Spencer are quite alike, they are both driven and focused on their studies.
She has also starred in quite a few independent films, including “Consent” and “Peep World”.
